A Fishy Thank You

Here is a card I made as a thank you for a male friend of mine who likes to fish.

I began by stamping my fish and shell from Repeat Impressions onto Cryogen white paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink. I stamped the small fish and shell twice to create the border.

Copics used:
Fish - Y17, R08, B05
Shell - R01, V12

I love the coloring on these, I impressed myself, lol. I searched tropical fish and scallop shell on Google images to get an idea for the coloring. The Thank You is also from Repeat Impressions. The dark blue background was created with my Cuttlebug bubbles embossing folder and color core paper which I sanded after embossing.

I used my EK Success concave punch for the background and large fish panels and my Stampin Up ticket corner punch for the border panel. Finished size is 4.25 x 5.5 inches.

Sandy -

This is wonderful! The colors are so vibrant and the fish just look so real. I love, love, love what you did with the embossing folder - really makes the card stand out.

Great coloring, Sandy! Makes me want to go diving! I'll be coloring this same fish tonight, but I'll be using a different color scheme. The Cuttlebug folder is perfect - I haven't been able to find that one yet, but think I'll have to have it.
