Brayered Stampscape

Here is a very purple brayered scene I did for my friend Linda on my Stampscapes II Yahoo group. Glad you liked it, Linda.

I stamped the Cloud with Moon Rising on Xerox Heavyweight Matte Cover with Archival Jet Black ink. I heat set the ink and then masked the moon.

I added Adirondacks Lights Cool Peri direct to paper over the entire card, smoothing it out with my brayer, which I again heat set.

Next I cut and applied a rough shape mask for the moon reflection. Then starting from the top I brayered some Adirondack Brights Raspberry and then some Purple Twilight.

After heat setting once more, I turned it around and applied the same two colors from the bottom being sure to leave the center area lighter.

One last heat set and I was ready to stamp my images. I removed my masks then using the Archival Jet Black I stamped Pines and Rocks Large several times to span the entire card. I added the sentiment and then the framing pine branches. A last heat set and the scene was done.

All stamps are from Stampscapes. Finished size is 4.25 x 5.5 inches.

Going over old cards you've done and still love this one. Of course I'm partial to purple too. Edna
