One card, two challenges

I created today's card for two challenges. The first was to use Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge #34. The second was to use the colors from this weeks Copic Colour Challenge #26.

Be sure to check out both blogs for some great card and color inspiration. I love challenges, they make it so easy when you are brain dead from teaching and designing too many classes, lol.

So on to my card....I began by stamping this little cutie from Bildmalarnas stamps onto Cryogen white paper from Cutcardstock.com with Memento Tuxedo black ink.

I just love her hair, I have days like that, lol. I had some scrap pieces of DP laying around that worked perfect with the chosen Copic colors. I airbrushed some soft aqua around her, it does not show up on the scan but looks quite lovely in real life. Finished size is 4.25 x 5.5 inches.

I hope she put a smile on your face, thanks for stopping by.

One of the comments asked how I tied my bow. I use silk ribbon and a Bow Easy. You can see how to use it in this video, a very useful tool.

This is so adorable ... I look at a lot of your projects and they are all fantastic! One questions I have about this particular project ... do you have details on how to tie that bow?

Isn't she a cutie!!! She makes you smile. I love making a card from scraps!! The best paper to use. Makes you feel like you got your money's worth from DP paper!!
