This week at Karen's Doodles Challenge blog our challenge is to use Stitching, either real or faux. Won't you please join in on the fun? You could win....
1st Place - 3 Digi stamps of your choice from Karen's Doodles
2nd Place - 2 Digi stamps of your choice from Karen's Doodles
3rd Place - 1 Digi stamps of your choice from Karen's Doodles
Winner's are chosen with Random.org. You must use a Karen's Doodles image and you must follow the theme.
For my card, I chose this sweet Karen's Doodles image called Love at First Sight! Do you remember your favorite Stuffie as a kid? Mine was an ancient teddy bear handed down to me from my Mom. It was as big as I was and was my best friend for quite some time; the adventures we used to have, lol!
I sized the image and then printed it onto Cryogen paper with my inkjet printer. Copics used:
Baby - E000, E00, R20
Hair - E11, E13
Tutu - V12, RV23
Stuffie - R11, RV11, Y11, YG11, BG11, RV23
Shadow - C1
I chose not to use DP, I wanted more of a color block look to mimic the patchwork of the Stuffie. I used a Copic mutiliner to add the faux stitching around the blocks. Finished size is 6" square. Be sure to visit the Challenge blog to see what the rest of the design team has created.
