Winter Friends

Here is a cute easel card I created combining two digi images from The Paper Shelter. They are having a DT call and I thought I would give it a try.  Using Photoshop Elements, I flipped the Winter Tree image and then added Warm in the Winter in front.  I love the expression on the tree!  I printed the image onto Cryogen white paper with my laser printer and then colored it with Copic markers.

To create my card base, I used my Cheery Lynn Designs Circle XL Stackers adding the lacy Doily Stacker Circles.  I layered Snowflakes 4, 7 and 5 on the inside of the card.

This is a very lovely card, Sandy. I am enjoying the sun so much right now that I can't bring myself to make a winter card just yet. NancyD

Another great card!! I have been trying unsuccessfully to find a printer that prints on card stock. I see that you used a laser printer. Do you have a printer that you can recommend? I would love to stop my search. Thanks.

Thank you for the nice comments. I have a Brother HL-5340D laser printer. It is only a black ink printer but it has a pass thru feature so you can use heavy card stock as it passes straight through the printer. I highly recommend it.

Such a cute card. I'm still trying to finish summer cards and stopped long enough to kind of organize my craft room. Soon will be into fall and winter. Thanks for the ideas. Edna

Thanks for the heads up on the Brother laser printer. Do you have a suggestion for a laser printer that also does color? Thanks so much.
