Think Spring with a Flower Fairy

The challenge at Cheery Lynn Designs this week is Think Spring.  Nothing says Spring like Flowers and Fairies.  This little cutie is called Baby Fairy with Buttercup, one from a set of three digi images by Mo Manning.  I printed her onto Cryogen card stock, colored her with my Copic markers and then cut her out adding a scalloped backing.  I paired the new Mesh Border with my Lady Kate Edger, adding some ribbon and pearls.  I used the same edger to make the corner adornment in the upper left.  I mixed Daisy Strip, Judy's Blooms and Cheery Blossom dies to make the flowers.  Then added pine from the Wreath Strip and the leafy branches from the center of my Japanese Garden Lace Oval.  Finished size is 6" square.

Be sure to visit the Cheery Lynn Designs challenge blog for more inspiration and to join in on this week's Think Spring challenge for a chance to win $20 to the store.

What a cutie pie! There is so much to love about this card. The mesh border and edger are fabulous! And the use of the wreath strip in white is brilliant. Love that bold orange!

Beautiful Sandy. Your different borders along with the border corner is perfect with the background paper. Your flowers gorgeous as usual and the pearls finish it off nicely.
