Heartfelt Creations to brighten your day

We in mid-Michigan are having very roller coaster weather.  A week ago we had 13 inches of snow, 3 days later it was 60° and most of the snow was gone (that was Sunday).  Yesterday (only 2 days later) we got 8 inches of snow and now we are supposed to have temperatures in the teens!  So I decided to make a bright floral card to lighten my mood!  I have again used my Heartfelt Creations Sun Kissed Fleur collection, but this time using the orange gold papers.

I began with a card base 6 inches square and added some a patterned paper background.  Since I only have the oval frame from Heartfelt, I used one of my new Cheery Lynn dies, Quadrafoil Square Doily as a base for my largest flower.  I added a little panel of patterned paper to the center of the doily before adding my flower.

Look how yummy these flowers are; I love the teeny ones that are great for filling in between the larger flowers making your arrangement look so full!  I used my Sun Kissed Fleur stamp set as well as the matching Sun Kissed Fleur die set.  I used Broken China Distress ink in the centers and Dried Marigold and Ripe Persimmon Distress inks on the petals.  For the leaves I used Bundled Sage and Frayed Burlap Distress ink.  Lastly I added some glitter glue to all the edges as well as the flower centers.  Thank you for stopping by and I hope my card brightens your day.
