ATC's for Marta

For the Yahoo Sutter stamps group, we had to create 3 ATC's for the swap this month. Here are the ones I came up with. They were a lot of fun to create. They measure 2.5 x 3.5 inches. I used my Spellbinders Nestabilities oval die to make a mask for the first one. Centering the oval, I airbrushed the outer blue area. I added the rest of the mask, then removed the oval so that the blue area was now masked off. Then I stamped my image, this is all one stamp called Mountain River, it is one of my favorites. I added the branches around the outside as an after thought and I like the look of them hanging into the scene.

The cowboy scene turned out to be my favorite. I tried to give it a cold Autumn feel, just the cusp of Winter, I felt the lavender sky helped to achieve this atmosphere. This is the first time I have put the cowboy to ink and I found I really like the stamp. I masked him, added the mountains behind and then using a Copic Multi Liner pen added some ground accents to fill in the empty areas. I used a silver Spica gel pen on his stirrups to give a hint of metal.

The last scene had the most masking and stamps used. I had to cut masks for each of the bears, ick! But the result was worth it. All stamps in each of these scenes are from Sutter Stamps
All coloring was done with Copic markers on Curious Cryogen white paper.

Sandy, amazing that you can do so much on an ATC. I'm impressed!

All three were terrific. The cowboy was my favorite too!
