Featured Stamper challenge

I participated in this weeks Featured Stamper challenge on Split Coast. Susie from SusieStampsAlot is the chosen stamper. The challenge is to pick something she has done and then create your own piece changing at least 2 things. For my inspiration I chose this card. I just love this layout. I began with paper from Heidi Grace and actually put the card together before I decided on an image. This crock of flowers is a Lockhart stamp from Ellen Hutson, another of the images from my Copic class. So using the designer paper as color inspiration, I used E40 Brick White on the crock, shaded with E43 Dull Ivory. The band on the crock is BG93 Green Gray. The flowers are E04 Lipstick Natural, the shading is just multiple layers of the same color. The berries are RV95 Baby Blossoms, again adding layers for shading. The smaller leaves are BG93 Green Gray and the larger leaves are YG93 Grayish Yellow. The Get Well Soon is from a SeeD's stamp set. Thanks again to Susie for the inspiration and check out her blog for some fabulous ideas.

Nice layout. I never use my accessories like the ring you used. I haven't thought about using them on the ribbon like that. I like that idea. I just may use them yet.
