Little Soldier for Layton

One of the members of Mo's Dream Team had tragedy strike their family. They lost a precious little family member, 16 month old Layton John Cleaver, to meningococcal septicaemia.  So in his memory they are raising funds for the Meningitis Search 4 a Vaccine campaign.

Two exceptionally talented artists have given their time to create digi stamps. Jim Harker created the Little Soldier digi stamp and Mo Manning created the Out There digi stamp.

For a small donation, both these images can be yours. Details can be found on Jak's blog. All of the proceeds from the sale of these digi stamps will go to the Meningitis Search 4 a Vaccine campaign.

So I quickly made this cute card. I printed the Little Soldier image onto Curious Ice Gold, it has an amazing shimmer and is great for snowmen. Copics used:
Snowman - B0000
Nose - YR16
Uniform & Hat - B16, YR23
Broom - E33, E37
Scarf - R46, G82
Background - B000

I used a wonderful antique gold Stardreams metallic card stock for the card base.  It perfectly sets off the gold on the snowman's uniform. Finished size is 4.25 x 5.5 inches.

The card is adorable and so are the stamps. What a sad story though.
