Whether I win or not, I am ecstatic to find your blog!! I love these stamps and now I have someone with a super blog to case! Thanks

Congratulations, PatsyB, please email me with your address and I will get your stamps right out to you.
Now for the chance to win your choice of 8 stamps from Dog Gone Stamps, check out the sketch challenge on Stamp Something. All you have to do is create a card using this sketch and then link up to the post by 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 18th. How easy is that.

So here is my sample using the Bear with a Pillow stamp that PatsyB just won. This is one of my favorite stamps, I just want to hug the stuffing out of this little guy.

As always, I stamped on Cryogen white from Cutcardstock.com with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored with my Copic markers.
Bear - E51, E53, E21, R81
Pillow - BG72

I airbrushed E51 around the bear before removing him from my Nestabilities die. I hand cut the red border behind my die cut panel. I also used R46 on the ribbon and gems so everything would match. The DP is from K & Company. Finished size is 4.25 x 5.5 inches.

Thinking of You and Blog Candy

How cute is this face? I just love this Westie stamp from Dog Gone Stamps. I stamped him on Cryogen white paper from Cutcardstock.com with Memento Tuxedo black ink. Of course, I colored him with my Copics-
Westie - C1, C3, C4
Shirt - BG11, BG13
Shadow - C1

I used this really great metallic DP from Artsy.licious, the black dots were added with a Glaze pen. I computer generated the saying and cut it out with my tag die from Spellbinders, airbrushing with BG13 before removing it from the die.

So, now for the giveaway. I have 5 stamps for you from Dog Gone Stamps, over $27 value. You will receive each of these stamps, the Westie, the Bear with a Pillow, FlyFishing Background, Dracula, and the Snowman with Birds. So leave a comment on this post. I will draw a winner on Monday using Random.org.

Airbrushed Flower Girl

Here is a little bit different image from DogGoneStamps. She is called Flower Girl , isn't she lovely?

I began by stamping her with Memento Tuxedo black ink on Cryogen white paper. I masked her with Eclipse tape and then airbrushed the background around her. Copics used:
Background - V12, BV13, BG49
Skin - E00
Hair - YR12, YR14, YR16
Top - BG000
Skirt - BG05
Flower - V06
Wings - B000, blender pen

I airbrushed the flower and brad to match. I used a Cuttlebug border embossing folder to create the lovely flowers along the bottom. I added two embossed lines with my Scor-It board.

Some of the Dog Gone Stamps design team are participating in a Blog Walk on Saturday. Be sure to start with Lauri's blog to see all the great creations.

Chihuahua!!

Here is an adorable stamp from DogGoneStamps. As you can see the little guy is celebrating!

I stamped him on Cryogen white with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored him with my Copics. I used a white glaze pen on the icing for a nice shine.

I had some great dog themed paper, brand unknown, and I love this particular layout. Added the paw print buttons, a couple of pearls and that was it.

Finished size is 5.75 inches square.

Duck, James Duck

I just love these new stamps from DogGoneStamps, they make me chuckle. I am a huge James Bond fan and I thought these were so clever. There are a few others that go along with these two.

I stamped my James Duck on Cryogen white with Memento Tuxedo black ink. Not a lot of color on here,
Beak - Y38
Feathers - W1
Eyes - B24
Shirt - B00
Tie - B06
Tux - C3, C4

Then it was just lots of layering and some ribbon. Finished size is 4.25 x 5.5 inches.

I have a selection of 5 stamps from DogGone that I will be giving away to a lucky reader soon, check back often.

Bunny with an Attitude

I made this card for the Stamps and Smiles Sketch Challenge SASSC9 for this week. Check it out and join in on the fun.

I began by stamping my bunny from DogGoneStamps on Cryogen white with Memento Tuxedo black ink. I got this great DP from GotMoxxie called Easter Doodle, the stripes are the reverse side of the bunnies and chicks.

So I used E70 to match the great taupe color in the paper to color my bunny. His nose, eyelids and tummy are E40. I used R81 on his ears and nose and a white glaze pen to shine up his teeth. The carrot is YR12 and YR14, the greens are G12. I created a shadow below him with E40.

Then it was just a matter of assembling the card. I used my Cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder on the pink panel. Got a little carried away with the pearls but I think it is a well balanced card. Finished size is 4.25 x 5.5 inches.

Holiday Nikko

This is my first Christmas card of the year. I thought if I make a few each month, I will not be so rushed come December (yeah, right!)

Nikko is another wonderful stamp from DogGoneStamps. I stamped him on Cryogen white with Memento black ink.

Copics used:
Fur - W1, W3
Nose - W5
Inner Ears - R20
Wreath - G40, G82
Bow - R46

I used a blender pen to soften the colors on his fur. I airbrushed the rhinestones by Nikko, red to match the ribbon. I used a gold Spica pen on the bells on Nikko's bow. The DP is from Hobby Lobby, so is the ribbon. Finished size is 5.5 x 4.25 inches.

New scenic blog and a Suspicious Pup

I have decided to split my scenic stamping off from the rest of my work. That way anyone who is only interested in scenes can subscribe to my scenic blog.

Now to my card for today, I am again using one of my new stamps from DogGoneStamps. He is called Suspicious Pup, but I think he looks like a Secret Agent man.

I stamped him on Cryogen white with Memento black ink then colored him with my Copics. I used my Spellbinder Long Rectangle Nesties to die cut his panels as well as the saying panels. The DP is from Wild Asparagus. I used my airbrush to color the pearls and rhinestones to match the paper.

Feeling Green

I thought this wonderful frog image from Doggonestamps looked a little green and under the weather. So I thought he would make a good Get Well card.

This was a super fast card to make. I used my Spellbinders Label One die to cut out all the panels. I colored with Copics of course and airbrushed the background around the frog while he was still in the die.

I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder to add texture to the darker green panel. I thought it kind of looked like animal hide. Finished size is 5" square.

Elephant from DogGonestamps

Here is another adorable image from Doggonestamps I chose to use this image for the sketch challenge 215 on SplitCoastStampers.

I thought the sketch would look good as color blocks rather than pattern paper, although I did use two Cuttlebug embossing folders for some texture.

I stamped my image on Cryogen white with Memento black ink. As always I colored him with my Copic markers. I used my Copic airbrush system to color the flowers and the rhinestones to match the card. Finished size is 5x7 inches.

Smile!

Here is another one of the new dog images from DogGoneStamps. How is that for a smile?

I used this weeks SFYTT from Jen del Muro to showcase this great stamp. The DP is from Heidi Grace, the floral pattern is the reverse side of the stripe. I thought it perfectly suited this handsome guy.

Very little coloring on this cutie, I used my Copic Warm Grays 1 and 3 for the body, B32 for the eyes and R21 for the tongue. I airbrushed the pearls to match with B95.

What a great sketch, thanks Jen. Finished size is 5x7 inches.

Gonna Write Myself a Letter

Is this pup from Doggonestamps just the cutest thing? He concentrates just like I do with my tongue stuck out, lol.

I stamped the image on Cryogen paper with Memento black ink, then colored him with my Copics. I cut him out and mounted him on the card stock, but then did not like the color of the paper so I used my Copics to change it. This entire card was made from scraps of paper I had laying around. I airbrushed the hearts and square brads with E59 to make them look bronze colored.

I used my Spellbinder Nesties to cut out different sizes and just played around until I got a layout I liked. Finished size is 6" square

Bear Hugs from the Heart

Here is my cute little bear from DogGoneStamps again. This card is for a sketch challenge on Paper Craft Planet.

I began by stamping my bear on Cryogen white paper with Memento black ink. I used the following Copic markers
Heart - R85, R89
Bear - E21, E33
Cheeks and foot pads - R21
Nose - C4

The saying is from Hero Arts. I airbrushed some E21 around both die cut panels before removing them from the dies. The DP is from K&Company, the Classic collection. The heart border is the new Valentines Heart Lace punch from Martha Stewart. Who knew she would be the Queen of punches?

Night and Day ......

Following a tutorial from Doubtfires Musings, I used my corner punch to create the black circle on this card. I then layered red card stock behind it and punched a circle in the middle. I next hand punched the hearts, layering black behind the red panel. Pretty cool, huh? The last step was to add the Martha Stewart lace down the sides. So I had this really cool layout with no idea what to put in the middle.

Then I remembered my Sun and Moon stamp from DogGoneStamps. Well, it fit perfectly in the center. This stamp reminds me of the movie LadyHawke, where the heroine spent her days as a hawk and the hero spent his nights as a wolf and they were cursed to be in love but never able to be together. It is a very good film, a two hankie, but with some action to keep the guys satisfied.

Anyway, I think this sun (the lady) and the moon (the man) are fated to only get a glimpse of each other at dusk and dawn. I colored them with my Copics, B21 for the moon and Y21 for the sun. Then I swirled my blender pen over the color to give it a kind of mottled look. Her lips are R29. So I was trying to think of a saying and the song "Night and Day" popped into my head. Perfect, so I computer generated the words, added some pearls and I was done. Finished size is 5 3/8" square.

Well, I just flipped on the TV and was channel surfing and the movie Night and Day with Cary Grant is playing. I guess it is fate!

Mi Amore Giraffe

How suave is this dapper Giraffe from DogGoneStamps? He has great smoldering eyes.

I stamped him with Memento Rich Cocoa on Cryogen white paper. I used the following Copic markers
Body - Y21, Y38
Horns - E43
Rose - R35, R05
Stem - G24, Y15
I cut the image out and then colored the edge with W3.

I used Vintage Photo Distress ink around the edge of the Curved Rectangle die cut before using pop dots to attach my image. All the designer paper is from the Mellow collection by Basic Grey. I used Spica pens on the rose and his eyes for a little bling. The saying "Mi Amore!" is computer generated. Finished size is 5x7 inches.

If you like this image, be sure to check out DogGoneStamps, they have lots more great ones. Also check out fellow Design Team member Jenny's wonderful Frog King card. He sure is a cutie.

Ms Seahorse from DogGoneStamps

I have decided that this beautiful seahorse from DogGoneStamps is definitely a girl, she has that "Come Hither" look in her eyes. I think she is adorable.

I stamped her with Memento black on Cryogen white, then used Copics YR21 for her body and YR12 and YR14 for shading. Her baby blues are B02.

I used my Nestabilites Curved Rectangles to die cut her out, airbrushing B21 around her in a kind of splotchy pattern before removing the paper from the die. I chose my Cuttlebug Bubbles embossing folder for the Bazzill Bling blue card stock. It really has a nice shimmer to it.

Some layering and some airbrushed gems to match and she was finished. Does she make you smile?

Bear Hugs from Dog Gone Stamps

I just love this Bear with Pillow from Dog Gone Stamps. He is so cute and cuddly, I just want to hug him.

I stamped the image on Cryogen white paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink. For the bear I used Copics E42, E43 and E44. I added some R20 to give him a rosie cheek and C3 for his nose. The heart pillow is R35. I airbrushed some R21 around him before removing the paper from my heart Nestabilities.

The DP is from Doodlebug Designs. I used my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder in two stages to emboss the card. Finished size is 5 3/8" square so I had to emboss the top of the card and then the bottom.

I am truly honored that Dog Gone Stamps has chosen me to be on their newly formed Design Team. They are busily adding stamps to their website. So expect to see more great creations using their stamp line.
