Cheery Lynn Designs Autumn Colors

The Cheery Lynn Designs challenge this week is Autumn colors and I thought I would play along.  To me Autumn is orange and green as the leaves on the trees change color and fall to the ground.  I began my card with an 5.5 inch square cream embossed panel using my Foliage Embossing Plate.  I layered this onto a 5 5/8 inch square green card base.   I die cut the middle die from the new Historic Barcelona Square Boutique Stacker Frame set from green card stock and cut it from point to point.  I added 1/2 on top of the card and half on the bottom.  Next came the smallest die from the Barcelona set, die cut from cream card stock.  I added a green panel and then popped it up on the center of the card.  I took the 4 pretty drop outs from the cream frame and glued them across the top of the card and along the bottom.  Save these drop outs, they are great embellishments.  My flower was created with my Sweet Williams Strip adding a center from my Black Eyed Susan Strip.  Finally I added some Rose Leaves.

Be sure to check out this week's Autumn Colors challenge for a chance to win a $20 shopping spree at Cheery Lynn Designs.

I love this card and thank you for going into detail about how you made it! Your cards and directions are always so wonderful and I think you are a fantastic teacher - even miles away!
