The challenge this week at Cheery Lynn Designs is Red, White and Blue. I began my card with a white card stock base, 5 5/8 inch square. To this I added the largest die from the new Castle Edge Square set, die cut from blue card stock. To this I added a lovely new DP from Gina K Designs. To create my sentiment panel I layered these dies starting from the bottom up: blue Scalloped Circle, white Vienna Waltz Circle Boutique Stacker, red Circle Stacker, white Silver Circle Stacker and finally the new Live Laugh Love from blue card stock. I used pop dots between the Vienna Waltz and red layer and then adhered it to my card base.
I got out some of my older flower dies for this card. Judy's Blooms and Cherry Blossom are very easy to use, simply pinch the petals together to create some dimension. I die cut these from Cryogen metallic paper, adding color accents with my Copic markers. To the center of these 3 larger flowers, I added two orange starbursts from the Embellishment #1 die set. I added two red Miniature Roses as well as some green Flourish Leaves.
