Heartfelt Creations Alumni January Blog Hop

Each month the alumni from the Heartfelt Creations Design Team host a blog hop giving you the opportunity to win a $25 gift certificate to the Heartfelt Creations store. Be sure you leave a comment on each of the participants blogs for a chance to win the gift certificate. The Hop starts on Friday January 25th at 8am EDT and closes Monday January 28th at 11.59pm EDT. The winner will be announced on the Heartfelt Creations blog and on Facebook on Wednesday January 30th!

For my card today, I began with a 5 x 7 card base white card stock base that I cut out with the largest die from the Eyelet Rectangle & Basics die set.  Using the next die down, I cut a background paper from the Festive Holly Collection and added it to the base.  I die cut the deer scene panel as well as the Eyelet frame using the same set of dies.  I stamped the Wagon Wheel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then die cut both it and the Decorative Arch from the coordinating Festive Holiday die set.  I used a Copic marker to add some color to the scallops on the Eyelet Frame as well as the Decorative Arch.  I colored the Wagon Wheel with my Copics and then used Double Dots to mount it to the card.  Lastly, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink I added the Thinking of You sentiment from the Soar on Eagle's Wings Cling Stamp set.

Thank you for visiting and good luck with the blog hop

Beautiful elements - I really like that little bit of color you added around the frame and doily - makes such an impact and I would never have thought of it...... I leave everything as is (I'm boring) = thank you for the inspiration!

Beautiful card. Like that it doesn't have all the stand out flowers, which are gorgeous, but so hard and expensive to mail. Yours is just right. Great job. Edna

Wonderful card, love the way the die gives a softer touch for the outdoor scene and the wheel adds that pop of color and interest.

But isn't that a great thing about these stamps. You can go so many different ways with them. Love the robin's added in.

Lovely wintery scene. Snow should be arriving here in a few hours so this is a very appropriate way to end the hop for me.
